Beth Shamburger Head, Trainer
I would like to introduce myself, My name is Mary Beth Shamburger Head I have been training and breeding for over 25 year specializing in Labrador Retrievers.
As a young child and through my teen years I would teach our neighborhood dogs basic obedience as well as volunteer at the Humane Society working with all breeds large and small. I was fortunate enough to be able to train under Bob Bunker of Bunker Kennels for many years.
I was the Obedience Instructor for Petsmart when they first came to Tyler. I truly enjoyed my working experience there, met many new friends including Vicki and David Christian, since I owned Labradors they approached me and asked if I would help them establish Rose Country Retriever Club. As my children grew older I felt that it was best to move my training home to our family farm where I train out of today.
